Sa pojavom prvih sunčanih i lepih dana, dolaskom i kalendarskog proleća, neophodno je razmišljati i o pripremi zemlje za predstojeću sezonu. Priprema zemlje za proleće je ključni korak koji poljoprivrednici moraju preduzeti kako bi obezbedili uspešnu i plodnu sezonu. Prolećni meseci predstavljaju vreme kada biljke počinju da se bude iz zimskog sna i kada poljoprivrednici treba da se pripreme za sadnju i uzgoj useva.
Kako do boljih prinosa?
Evo nekih važnih koraka u pripremi zemlje i prolećnom radu u polju. Prvi korak u pripremi zemlje za proleće je testiranje zemljišta kako bi se utvrdili nivoi hranljivih materija i pH vrednost. Ovo je važno jer će omogućiti poljoprivrednicima da znaju koje su količine đubriva i drugih hranljivih materija potrebne za optimalan rast biljaka. Oni se koriste za okretanje zemlje, uklanjanje korova i razbijanje gruda. Ovo je važno jer omogućava vazduhu, vodi i hranljivim materijama da lakše prodiru u zemlju, što doprinosi boljem rastu biljaka. Plugovi se mogu koristiti ručno, ali su danas dostupne i mašine za obradu zemljišta koje koriste plugove. Pored plugova veliku ulogu igraju i rasipači djubriva. Ravnomerno rasporedjeno djubrivo je važno jer nejednaka raspodela djubriva može dovesti do neravnomernog rasta biljaka, što može smanjiti prinose. Rasipači đubriva su dostupni u različitim veličinama i kapacitetima, što omogućava poljoprivrednicima da odaberu onaj koji odgovara njihovim potrebama. Kombinacija korišćenja plugova i rasipača đubriva je ključna za pripremu zemljišta za prolećnu sezonu.
Važno je pravilno planirati i izvršiti pripremu zemljišta kako bi se postigli najbolji rezultati. Pravilna prolećna priprema zemlje može značajno poboljšati kvalitet i količinu prinosa biljaka, smanjiti gubitke usled bolesti i štetočina, a takođe i poboljšati zdravlje zemljišta dugoročno.
